Information

Oleai Elementary School is located in San Jose Village on the island of Saipan, in the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.  OES has three classrooms for each grade level from K-6, with a student enrollment of approximately 500.  Oleai is the Home of the Turtles.  The symbol at OES is a turtle with a "mwar."

OES is a Megaskills school, and we are in the process of implementing the Megaskills program into our curriculum.

OES follows a thematic-based curriculum. Our schoolwide theme for the year is "Exploring our Changing World."  Grade level teachers work together to build their year-long curriculum, and student work is showcased in a quarterly Academic Fair.  OES has recently adopted the Harcourt Brace Signatures Edition for its Language Arts program.
